Indigenous Development Coordinator – Based in Cairns
The Indigenous Development Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination of Netball Queensland’s Indigenous Advancement Program (IAP) targeting remote communities across Far North Queensland. The IAP is specifically aimed at Indigenous women and girls, providing participation pathways and leadership opportunities. This exciting role will manage a team of part time staff to coordinate coach/umpire development, NetSetGO in schools, after school competitions and community carnivals. The role will also contribute to the growth of Indigenous participation in grass roots programs in the Cairns and surrounding regions through the delivery of Sporting Schools and Suncorp NetSetGO.

Queensland Marie Little Shield Head Coach
The Marie Little Shield Head Coach will be responsible for preparing the Queensland Team to compete in the 2017 Marie Little OAM Shield competition in Perth from th 1st – 3rd September.
The Marie Little Shield is an annual national competition for players with an intellectual disability, operated jointly by Netball Australia and the host Member Organisation and attended by teams from Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia and Northern Territory.

National Performance Panelist
One of Netball Australia’s key high performance pathway objectives is to identify and select junior athletes in national underage squads. A critical component of our 2017 pathway selection approach is an individual athlete performance profile, an objective measure of athletes’ competition performance at the 17/U and 19/U National Netball Championships.
A Performance Panel comprising of two (2) people per age group will be appointed to attend the 17/U and 19/U National Netball Championships to complete the athlete performance profile. Their learned knowledge of the athletes vying for selection plus their knowledge of the specific requirements for high performance netball success is crucial when assessing athlete performance.

Netball Queensland Emerging Talent Program Coordinator (10 positions available)
The primary purpose of the role is to coordinate the delivery of up to three (3) Emerging Talent Workshops in a designated area during the year. The role will involve liaising closely with regional branches, QSNL license holders and local associations to ensure all relevant personnel are aware of and as appropriate invited to attend the workshops.
