Queensland 56 defeated ACT 32
As it did yesterday, Queensland started its day 3 action with a victory following a loss the night before.
The 24-goal win keeps Queensland in touch for a top four finish – but the hosts face a defining clash later in the day against Victoria.
Shooter Jemmason Power stepped up with her best game of the tournament with 38 goals at 91 per cent accuracy.
It was Power that helped Queensland get away to an early lead, shooting at 100 per cent accuracy for the opening term while its defence only allowed the ACT to have nine shots for the quarter.
Queensland continued to build on its lead at every break with consistency to secure its third win of the tournament.

Victoria 51 defeated Queensland 39
Victoria has locked away a semi-final berth after producing a dominant second half performance to defeat Queensland in Round 6 action.
Both states went into the clash coming off victories in the morning rounds with Queensland determined to win and consolidate its spot in the top four.
The first half was a close affair with both sides looking to get the edge on the other. Victoria led narrowly at quarter-time and then the main break with the defences of both sides working hard.
But it was the third quarter where Victoria broke the game right open, doubling Queensland’s score to race to a match-winning 10-goal lead heading into the final term.
The host state could not keep up with the power of Victorian goal shooter Jane Cook, who again impressed with 42 goals at 88 per cent accuracy.
Victoria will be looking to round out its campaign against the ACT in Round 7 ahead of the semi-finals on Saturday while Queensland takes on Tasmania in its final round robin match.
