GET IN THE KNOW COACHING & UMPIRING WORKSHOPS
For a third successive year, Netball Queensland will be offering interactive development workshops for umpires and coaches at every Firebirds home match throughout the 2018 Suncorp Super Netball season.
Each of the seven sessions are aimed at sharing knowledge and skills sets, while growing the relationship between coaches and umpires.
In addition to a high-performance coach or umpire presenting – the workshops will be also see opposition coaching staff and umpires outside of netball invited for the first time, with the intention to have both coaches and umpires attending together so ideas and discussions are shared and learning is a whole game approach.
Each workshop is open to 20 participants – who will also have a workbook to focus their learning during the game and each will be expected to share their observations and thoughts.
