Queensland 17/U, 19/U teams named

A host of Queensland Firebirds and Queensland Fusion talent headline star-studded Queensland 17/U and 19/U squads for 2017.

Queensland Firebirds training partners Alexia Baker, Tara Hinchliffe and Tippah Dwan headline a talent-packed Queensland 19/U side which also includes Fusion squad members Rylie Holland, Bella Sorby, Maddison Hinchliffe and Shenae Grant.

Queensland’s 17/U side is headlined by Fusion squad member Sarapheinnia Woulf and includes exciting emerging stars Mia Stower and Macy Gardner who played in the 2016 championships.

Both teams and training partners will continue to train each weekend before departing on 18 April for Canberra for the national championships.

Three full weekend camps will be conducted for both sides on March 4/5, March 18/19 and April 1/2 and training will occur each Sunday in between.

Queensland 19/U team: Alexia Baker (Virginia), Rosie Baker, Annabella Sorby (Buderim), Jada Gafa (Robina), Jessica Donnelly (Upper Coomera), Jessie O’Rourke (Wongawallen), Lillian Gray (Annerley), Maddison Hinchcliffe (Bridgeman Downs), Rylie Holland (Alexandra Hills), Shenae Grant (Emerald), Tara Hinchcliffe (Bridgeman Downs), Tippah Dwan (St Lucia).
