Netball Queensland and QUT need your help!

Netball is currently the highest team participation sport played by women and girls.

Researchers at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) are undertaking a project which aims to consider what factors result in young girls continuing to play or dropping out from netball and need your help.

QUT are asking your Association to invite 11-year old girls (born in 2003) who have played in team competitions during 2014 to come along and be part of this project.

Click here for more information and a flyer for distribution to these 11 year old girls which includes information regarding registration and details of the day.

This activity day will be held at Logan Metro Indoor Sports Centre, 357 Browns Plains Road, Crestmead on Wednesday 17 December, 2014 from 8.45am to 3.15 pm.

Register on the Trybooking website;

Once registered, participants will be asked to complete a pre-activity questionnaire along with a consent to participate form.  We would also appreciate adult volunteers for the roles of group manager, registration sign-on and timing, and umpires.

Volunteers are also asked to register through contacting Netball Queensland
