Nominate now for NQ Awards

Nominations for the annual Netball Queensland awards on Saturday 24 September 2016 are now open.

The awards honour the stakeholders who have gone above and beyond to give back to the great game of netball in the past 12 months, with nominations open for Coach of the Year, Umpire of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, Youth Volunteer of the Year (under 21 years), Club of the Year and Association of the Year.

Netball Queensland General Manager of Community and Sport Development Leigh Gibbs said the awards acknowledged those who worked tirelessly to grow the game.

“The Netball Queensland awards are about recognising the heart and soul of netball – our wonderful volunteers,” Gibbs said.

“Without them, our game just wouldn’t flourish. The evening will be a great opportunity to acknowledge their contribution and share our common passion for the game.”

The top three finalists in each category will be special guests at the 2016 NQ Awards and have the opportunity to be crowned a category winner.
