Leaders Conference

The annual Netball Queensland Leaders Conference is the must attend event for the current and emerging leaders across our sport. It is our opportunity to come together from all parts of our diverse state and as a community learn from each other, challenge ourselves and each other, and seek opportunities to grow participation in our sport at all levels.

In 2022, our conference theme is Lead, Thrive, Belong. The theme reflects our roles as leaders within our sport and communities, our need to ensure that our sport at all levels continues to thrive and our focus on inclusion and ensuring that everyone feels welcome in our sport.

2022 will see the conference move to a new and exciting venue at the W Brisbane,  81 N Quay, Brisbane City on Saturday 12 March and Sunday 13 March 2022.

We encourage you to secure your place as soon as possible, as previous conferences have sold out.

Conference Program

Attendance at the conference will provide you with access to an exciting, interesting and inspiring range of speakers and presenters from within and outside of our sport. This includes keynote speakers, interesting panel discussions on topics relevant to our netball community and workshops to help your club and/or association thrive.

Opportunities to network with and hear from representatives of other associations and clubs, Netball Queensland staff, Board members and committee members is always highly regarded by conference attendees.

The conference program will include a diverse range of sessions focused on leading change, working with Regional Councils, attracting and retaining volunteers, junior coach development, increasing boys and men’s participation in netball and managing complaints and member protection issues.
