The Marie Little OAM Shield is the annual tournament for women with an intellectual impairment to play netball and represent and compete for their state at a national level.
The competition was introduced in 2013 and has quickly become a highlight of the netball calendar. The Shield was named after Marie Little (OAM), a netballer who dedicated her life to those with an intellectual disability.
The Queensland team representing the state are called the Queensland Gems. Click here to find out more or to register your interest to play for the QLD Gems.
