We interviewed Wilhemena (Player) & Merrin (Coach) about their journey in netball and being a part of the Queensland Gems.
A keen netballer, Little was inspired in 2013 to create an annual competition to provide the opportunity for netballers with an intellectual disability to compete at national tournaments.
The Gems heritage began with Merrin McCulloch and Phoebe North, who in 2014 promoted the representative opportunity through Metropolitan Netball Association’s Netability sessions.
