Queensland Gems

The Queensland Gems are a State Representative team that compete in Netball Australia's National Championships, Marie Little Shield. 

The annual competition is an opportunity for women with intellectual impairment to compete at a national level.

Eligibility

We encourage all players 14+ with an intellectual disability to get involved with the Queensland Gems.
The state team selection will however be based on the eligibility criteria which has been set out for the national Marie Little Shield tournament by Netball Australia. See below eligibility criteria:
Female athletes with an intellectual disability
Aged 16+
Players must go directly through Sport Inclusion Australia for classifications. Further information on eligibility criteria can be found below
