Infrastructure Strategy

In line with the Netball Queensland Strategic Plan 2023-25, Netball Queensland has engaged InsideEdge to assist in undertaking a review and refresh of its existing State-Wide Facilities Strategy 2018-2025. This will also include an update to the facility audit data previously captured.

The refresh will also include a review of netball participation trends as well as current and forecasted population growth to guide the strategic prioritisation and provision of netball infrastructure in Queensland over the next 10 years.

In addition, the development of a Netball Queensland Infrastructure Hierarchy and Provision Framework will assist in guiding the upgrade or provision of netball infrastructure at each level of the hierarchy.

The NQIS will be developed in consultation with key stakeholders including all levels of government, our Member Associations, clubs, schools, indoor netball venue operators and other sporting codes.

The refreshed NQIS is due to be released in March 2024 and will help guide the strategic prioritisation, investment, and provision of netball infrastructure in Queensland over the next 10 years.

NQIS Stakeholder Engagement Plan

There will be communication about the NQIS via the website and Netball Queensland Newsletters.

A stakeholder survey has been distributed via the Netball Queensland Newsletters and is available on this webpage below.

InsideEdge was present at the Leaders Conference in October to provide stakeholder engagement opportunities for those attending.
