Netability Program

Netability is an inclusive netball program for people with a disability. The program provides participants an opportunity to play netball in a fun, safe and inclusive environment. The program was first established at Metropolitan District Netball Association since 1984.

This program/initiative has received funding from the Australian Government Department of Health, Disability and Ageing.

Push to draw more women with disabilities to netball

Netball Queensland have launched two inclusion hubs in Townsville and Toowoomba in a bid to attract more women with disabilities to play the sport and create pathways to statewide tournaments like the Marie Little Shield tournament.
