Community Award Winners

This award recognises a NetSetGo (NSG) centre that has played a key role in providing memorable netball experiences for first time participants and fostering a lifelong involvement in the game.

Kingaroy Netball Association

This award recognises an individual, club, or Association that has taken an innovative approach to championing and embedding inclusive, and respectful practices to ensure netball is accessible, welcoming, and safe for all. It celebrates those who actively break down barriers, foster community connection, and promote integrity, belonging, and sustainable growth within our sport.

Bundaberg Netball Association

This Award recognises an individual who has excelled in providing support, development, and growth to officials and/or demonstrated a high standard of performance as an official. This person may have performed their role as umpire, umpire coach or bench official.

Stacey Joseph (Gladstone Netball Association)

This Award is presented to an individual who has coached in Netball Queensland sanctioned competitions and events, from the club, Association, or school level. This person may have performed their role as coach in either a paid or unpaid capacity.

Chris Beckett (Darling Downs Panthers)

This award recognises Associations that demonstrate excellence in governance, administration, leadership and significantly contributed to the growth, development, and delivery of netball to strengthen netball participation.

This award recognises Associations that demonstrate excellence in governance, administration, leadership and significantly contributed to the growth, development, and delivery of netball to strengthen netball participation.

This award seeks to recognise the ‘all-rounder’ whose work has significantly contributed to the growth, development, sustainability, and delivery of netball within the community.

In 2025, we're proud to bring the Netball Queensland Community Awards to the Leaders Conference, celebrating the incredible people and organisations who make our game thrive across the state.

This year, the awards will be presented throughout the Conference program and at the concluding cocktail celebration — shining a spotlight on the inspiring contributions made at all levels of our sport. From coaches and officials to inclusive programs and community champions, these awards recognise the heart of our netball community.
