ADD OR REMOVE NETBALLCONNECT ADMINS

 With a new year comes the possibility of changes in Association and Club committee members, as well as the people involved with NetballConnect.

Below are instructions on how to Add and Remove Admin Users from your Association and Club list to assist in keeping the list updated. Any current Admin User can add or remove Admin Users from the Association and Club list.

  1. Select the 'User' Module
  2. Select 'Administrators' and then 'Our Organisation' from the drop-down menu
  3. Scroll down the list of people who have access on your organisation's profile (e.g. Admin, Users - Read Only, Web Admin - Finance, Web Admin - Umpire): -
  • To remove an Admin User, click 'Remove' from their contact. The person being removed will not receive any notification that they have been removed from the profile.
  • To add another Admin User, scroll to the bottom of the page and select 'Add Contact'. When adding Admin details, ensure that you are using their current email and mobile numbers from the personal profile in NetballConnect. The 'new' Admin User will then receive an email requesting that they log in (if they don't already have an admin access to any other organisation). Please remind any new Admin User that they will need to download an Authenticator app to be able to complete their log in. 

For User with Shared/Communal Email Addresses

Ensure that any user that is being removed who is using and Association or Club email address changes their email address on their personal profile in NetballConnect after being removed from the list.

How to successfully reset the TFA (Two Factor Authentication) for someone in NetballConnect

To successfully reset a current Admin Users TFA, you need to follow the below instructions:

  • Select 'User' Module
  • In the search area, enter the person's name and click on their profile.
  • In the top right-hand corner click 'Actions'
  • From the drop-down menu, select 'Reset TFA'
  • Once this is completed, the Admin User who has had their TFA reset will need to rescan the QR code that will shop upon logging in again.

Please be mindful when adding Admin Users to your organisation's profile. You are providing them with a significant amount of responsiibility and access, as there are many functions that can be performed by someone who has the permission of Admin User.
