Competing in the Super Netball Reserves Competition, the Firebirds Futures are Netball Queensland’s senior emerging-elite representative team, showcasing the state’s best talent identified through the HART Premier Netball League.


We are seeking a passionate and committed Head Coach to lead this exciting program. In this role, you will provide high-quality coaching, encouragement, and development opportunities and guide athletes to reach their full potential on and off the court.

This is a volunteer role with a paid honorarium.

The QFFA supports Queensland’s most promising young netball talent, providing pathways for locally and nationally identified athletes to progress toward Suncorp Super Netball and Australian national team selection. Netball Queensland (NQ) is inviting expressions of interest from volunteer coaches for our regional academy branches in Cairns, Townsville, Mackay, and Rockhampton.
