Inducted in 2024

Elizabeth White is a legacy Queensland netball. She captained her state as a player and soon became Australian Diamond No.75 during her debut in 1980.

Unfortunately for White, a knee injury during Australia's 1982 tour of New Zealand hampered her playing career: however, ultimately this led to White embarking on one of Queensland's most recognised coaching careers.

Whether it is at her local netball club Valleys, Downey Park Netball Association, the Queensland Academy of Sport or the Brisbane North Cougars, success has followed her everywhere as a coach as well as playing a key role in the careers of several players who would go on to the highest levels including Vicki Wilson, Janet Bothwell, Belinda Dever, Laura Scherian, Tara Hinchliffe, Macy Gardner and Remi Kamo to name just a few.

Under her guidance the Cougars, have won the most state league titles of any club. In 2000 she was awarded the Australian Sports Medal and Received the Medal of the Order of Australia in the 2016 Queen's Birthday honours. White is also a Legacy Life Member of Netball Queensland.
