Fair Play Vouchers (Organisations)

With the increased eligibility for Fair Play vouchers in the current round (Round 11), your Netball Club or Association may have parents / legal guardians seeking to use them to contribute towards the cost of registrations in Season 2024 (for Netball Activities that haven’t occurred yet) or Season 2025 in larger numbers than in previous rounds.

To accept Fair Play vouchers, your Netball Club or Association needs to be an approved Activity Provider in the scheme.  Become an approved Activity Provider by following the prompts in the below URL:

https://www.qld.gov.au/recreation/sports/funding/fairplay/providers/register

Activity Providers are required to comply with the following Terms and Conditions of the scheme:

https://www.qld.gov.au/recreation/sports/funding/fairplay/providers/terms

Redeeming Fair Play vouchers can only be redeemed through the Queensland Government’s ‘Enquire’ platform.

Please do not offer to allow Fair Play vouchers to be used to pay for registrations that have taken place earlier in Season 2024.  It is a breach of the Terms and Conditions for Activity Providers (5.1(j)) to do this, as Fair Play vouchers need to be obtained from the parent / legal guardian at the time of signing on.  Fair Play vouchers are not redeemable for cash or transferrable, this is stated on the Fair Play voucher.

Redeem Fair Play vouchers as your Netball Club or Association receives them, as this will ensure that, if there is an issue with the Fair Play voucher (e.g. it has already been presented or the voucher reference number does not match the child being registered with your Netball Club or Association), you can seek to resolve the issue as soon as possible, rather than finding out when it is too late and possibly facing a financial shortfall.

Only redeem the amount of the total eligible registration costs involved in the Netball Activity, up to $200.00 (the maximum amount available to redeem).  If the total registration cost of the Netball Activity does not reach the maximum amount available to redeem, please only redeem the cost of the registration.  Any difference between the maximum amount and that of the Netball Activity is not able to be redeemed and returned to the parent, nor are they able to use that unredeemed amount later with your Netball Club or Association.  Fair Play vouchers are only able to be presented once, so parents / legal guardians need to determine when the best time is to present the Fair Play voucher, so that they can obtain maximum benefit, within the scheme's Terms and Conditions.

Netball Queensland will invoice Netball Clubs and Associations that have taken registrations where Netball Queensland’s membership component is paid (in part or wholly) by a Fair Play voucher, should they not be redeemed in a timely manner through NetballConnect.  For information on how to redeem Government Vouchers in NetballConnect, please contact Netball Queensland’s NetballConnect Helpdesk (netballconnect@netballq.org.au).

Round 11’s Fair Play vouchers need to have been provided to approved Activity Providers by 6 June 2024.

The next Fair Play voucher round is scheduled to commence on 1 July 2025.
