Following Queensland Health’s announcement today of a lockdown in Local Government Areas: Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan City, Moreton Bay, Redlands, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Noosa, Somerset, Lockyer Valley and Scenic Rim will enter hard lockdown.
All netball activity will be suspended in the affected local government areas from 1pm today.
Anyone who has been in SEQ since 1am Saturday 31 July are required to follow the lockdown restrictions even if they are currently located outside of the affected regions.
Community Netball
The suspension of all netball activity includes training sessions, fixtures, carnivals and all other netball-related gatherings, and will take effect from 1pm today, Saturday 31 July.
This suspension will remain in place until the lockdown is lifted, currently scheduled for 4pm on Tuesday, 3 August.
Training and netball activity in other parts of the state unaffected by the lockdown may continue, however any participants who have recently been in the affected areas, are required to follow the lockdown restrictions, even if they are currently located outside of the affected regions.

HART Sapphire Series
The HART Sapphire Series finals scheduled for tomorrow, Sunday 1 August, have been postponed until further notice.
We will continue to monitor the situation over the coming days and provide further updates, including a revised date, via our HART Sapphire Series website and socials.
Nissan Arena
Nissan Arena will be CLOSED as of 2:30pm today, Saturday 31 July until 4pm Tuesday 3 August.
