Senior State Age – Ipswich Netball Association: 12-15 April
The Senior State Age competition will take place from 12-15 April in Ipswich. The 2024 event at Western Districts Netball Association (WNDA) saw an incredible 1535 games played over 30,700 minutes of netball, a notable part of WDNA’s 50th Anniversary celebrations. Ipswich is ready to welcome teams from across Queensland for four days of high-intensity competition and camaraderie.
Country Carnival – Townsville City Netball Association: 3-4 May
Townsville will once again host the Country Carnival on 3-4 May, following its successful hosting of the 2024 event. This year's carnival featured 235 games played over the weekend and saw the participation of Tablelands and Sarina Netball Associations for the first time at an NQ event.
Netball Queensland is hopeful that even more regional associations will participate in the 2025 Country Carnival, showcasing the depth and talent of netball across Queensland.
Junior State Age – Sunshine Coast Netball Association: 5-8 July
Following the Junior State Age as part of Downey Park Netball Association’s 50th anniversary celebrations in 2024, the Sunshine Coast will host the 2025 event from 5-8 July. This year’s event was a huge success, and Netball Queensland is confident that the Sunshine Coast will provide an equally vibrant and competitive atmosphere for our young athletes.
Netball Queensland looks forward to these exciting events and the opportunity to foster community spirit and showcase the exceptional talent within our netball community. We encourage all teams and associations to begin preparations for what promises to be a fantastic year of netball.
