Netball Queensland’s family of partners have shown tremendous support to the State’s leading sport for women and girls in recent months, with two Major Sponsors identifying an innovative way to assist the netball community.
The governing body has always been proud to partner with strong brands that align with its core values and, with competition netball returning to courts across Queensland, Suncorp and HART Sport have come together to help with the resumption of play.
Suncorp Team Girls are currently giving the netball community in Queensland the chance to win 1 of 25 Training Kits*, packed with HART Sport netball equipment, to support teams step back out on the court with confidence.
“The Ultimate Suncorp Team Girls Training Kit” is packed with balls, bibs and bump pads among an array of other netball equipment.
Team Girls was launched in 2017 in response to a startling statistic that nearly 50% of all girls stop playing sport by 17. Team Girls is dedicated to fostering and promoting girls’ participation in sport.
Working with HART Sport was a no brainer for Suncorp as HART Sport believes in facilitating and supporting everybody in their sporting and active endeavours, no matter their age, ability, or circumstance.
Netball Queensland’s General Manager of Venues, Events, Competitions and Commercial, Ben Mannion, expressed his pride in seeing two partners collaborate to help build a nation of confident, active girls!
“It is wonderful seeing the collaboration between two of our Major Sponsors supporting the return to play of Netball in Queensland. This is a testament to us ensuring our values align strongly with our partners and we can’t thank them enough for supporting us during the COVID-19 crisis,” Mannion said.
