Whether you're a beginner finding your feet or an experienced professional, this year's conference promises an unparalleled opportunity to elevate your skills and connect with the netball community under the theme "Connect, Learn and Inspire."
This year's conference breaks new ground with a choose-your-own-adventure approach, allowing every coach and umpire to select sessions that align with their interests and experience level across multiple streams running throughout the day.
Coaches can dive into specialist workshops including attack and defence strategy sessions with HART Premier Netball League mentors Megan Lynch and Simone Nalatu, explore the skill matrix and selections process, participate in a Net Set Go on-court session with Netball Australia or watch a Queensland Firebirds training session. Meanwhile, umpires will benefit from keynote speaker Kath O'Brien, rules-focused sessions with Morgan Dick and Caroline Stevens, umpire coaching workshops and confidence-building communication sessions.
Attendees will also enjoy strength and conditioning tips from Rhett Cope, safeguarding workshops and a special lunch meet-and-greet with Firebirds players Mary Cholhok and Ruby Bakewell-Doran. Additional highlights include disability and inclusion training, navigating the accreditation system and the innovative Coaching Lab with Jack Rolfe exploring how fun games accelerate player development.
For those unable to attend in person, the conference offers online attendance with an enhanced connected experience.
All sessions will be recorded and shared with registered participants, allowing coaches and umpires to access any workshops they missed.
Netball Queensland is committed to ensuring remote attendees receive the best experience possible.
