What’s involved? Facilitating coaching accreditation courses and coaching workshops Provide a positive, interactive and encouraging environment during courses and workshops to promote learning and development for coaches Develop coach understanding of a player-centred approach and facilitate in a manner which supports this Attend training workshops and be involved in ongoing support and development What courses and workshops will you facilitate? Accreditation: Development Face to Face coaching workshop, Intermediate, Advanced, Elite Accreditation Assessments: Intermediate, Advanced Coaching Workshops: NetSetGO, Sporting Schools, Next Step, Emerging Talent Program We’re looking for coaches who: are upbeat, enthusiastic and experts at putting smiles on faces want coaches to gain knowledge, skills, confidence and an ongoing desire to continue growing have the relevant skills and experience to facilitate. Club & Association Coaching Positions

Due to substantial growth we now have an exciting opportunities available for Senior Coaches to join us on our journey. As a Senior Coach you will play a pivotal role in the continued development of our players whilst under the guidance of Flyers’ Head Coach. We are currently accepting expressions of interest across multiple competitive age groups.
Key Responsibilities:
. Promote and encourage a positive environment focusing on team work Identify areas of development to upskill players
. Create training plans focusing on specific skills and game plays
. Organise game day preparation including warm up and position rotation
. Opportunity to develop younger coaches (not mandatory)
. Comply with both Flyers & DPNA Code of Conduct
About You:
. Previous experience in a similar position is essential
. Proven ability to develop, coach and guide players
. Focused on creating a positive environment
. Organised individual with a passion for netball
. Blue Card (can be provided)
. Foundation Coaching Accreditation (can be provided)
Time Commitment:
. 3-4hours per week depending how many and what age team is coached
Typical training & game day information:
. Tuesday Nights - 5-8pm depending on team/s coached. Saturday Day - morning or afternoon depending on team/s coached

Brisbane Central Flyers Netball Club was formally established in 2016 with a vision to create a community focused netball club. Focusing on encouraging both children and adults to be fit and healthy whilst reinforcing the importance of teamwork. Since 2016 Flyers Netball Club has grown by over 150% and in 2019 the club had over 65% of competitive teams qualify for finals. Unfortunately during 2020, Covid-19 halted our competitive season - we are looking to return stronger than ever in 2021. Flyers is also the smallest club ever to have received the “Junior Club of the Year Award”. “We believe in the FLYERS way – Fun, Learning, Your Community, Encourage, Respect, Sportspersonship”. Opens Division 4 Coach
Position Description:
Coaching position available for someone wanting to accelerate their Netball Australia coaching accreditation. Club will cover costs associated with accreditation.
Time Commitment:
One hour coaching on Monday nights 6-7pm and 1.5 hours on Saturday
Qualifications required:
Minimum Foundation coaching accreditation

Dependent on experience
