What’s involved?
Facilitating coaching accreditation courses and coaching workshops
Provide a positive, interactive and encouraging environment during courses and workshops to promote learning and development for coaches
Develop coach understanding of a player-centred approach and facilitate in a manner which supports this
Attend training workshops and be involved in ongoing support and development

Accreditation:  Development Face to Face coaching workshop, Intermediate, Advanced, Elite
Accreditation Assessments:  Intermediate, Advanced
Coaching Workshops:  NetSetGO, Sporting Schools, Next Step, Emerging Talent Program

Club & Association Coaching Positions

Due to substantial growth we now have an exciting opportunities available for Senior Coaches to join us on our journey. As a Senior Coach you will play a pivotal role in the continued development of our players whilst under the guidance of Flyers’ Head Coach. We are currently accepting expressions of interest across multiple competitive age groups. 

Key Responsibilities:  
. Promote and encourage a positive environment focusing on team work Identify areas of development to upskill players 
. Create training plans focusing on specific skills and game plays 
. Organise game day preparation including warm up and position rotation 
. Opportunity to develop younger coaches (not mandatory) 
. Comply with both Flyers & DPNA Code of Conduct 


About You:  
. Previous experience in a similar position is essential 
. Proven ability to develop, coach and guide players 
. Focused on creating a positive environment 
. Organised individual with a passion for netball 
. Blue Card (can be provided) 
. Foundation Coaching Accreditation (can be provided) 


Time Commitment:  
. 3-4hours per week depending how many and what age team is coached


Typical training & game day information:  
. Tuesday Nights - 5-8pm depending on team/s coached. Saturday Day - morning or afternoon depending on team/s coached

Brisbane Central Flyers Netball Club was formally established in 2016 with a vision to create a community focused netball club. Focusing on encouraging both children and adults to be fit and healthy whilst reinforcing the importance of teamwork. Since 2016 Flyers Netball Club has grown by over 150% and in 2019 the club had over 65% of competitive teams qualify for finals. Unfortunately during 2020, Covid-19 halted our competitive season - we are looking to return stronger than ever in 2021. Position Description:  

Coaching position available for someone wanting to accelerate their Netball Australia coaching accreditation. Club will cover costs associated with accreditation.

Time Commitment:  

One hour coaching on Monday nights 6-7pm and 1.5 hours on Saturday

Position Description

We are after an experienced coach to guide a lovely social and competitive mixed aged opens team. If you are passionate about netball but would like to just be a support for a senior team rather than chasing juniors around, this is the role for you.

Redlands Netball Association

We are looking for experienced netball coaches for two of our Cadet teams (15 years -19 years) for the 2021 netball season.

Position Description:  

Creating Sessions that develop your players in the core skills of netball. Creating and developing 'Court Partnerships' between players who compliment each other. Identifying strengths and weaknesses in your opposition and planning your team line up based on those observations. Developing the Strengths in your players. Training a Cadet team once a week for an hour at the Allstars Netball Club, Wellington Point, Brisbane. Coaching the team on Saturdays from April - September 2021 at the Redlands Netball Association, Thornlands, Brisbane for our junior hard-court competition.

Time Commitment:  

2 hours a week

Qualifications Required:  

Foundation coaching accreditation

Remuneration:  

Volunteer

Typical training & game day information:  

Training once a week for an hour (let us know when suits you). Cadet games are on at 2pm, 3.15pm & 4.30pm on Saturdays.

Position Description
● Liaise with Executive Committee or such other appointed persons to ensure adherence to QCNA philosophy and playing style. 
● Provide leadership, education, mentoring and support for all Association coaches. 
● Provide advice and mentoring to players and coaches as required. 
● Provide technical direction and monitoring of the player pathway for QCNA. 
● To play a key role in the recruitment and appointment of coaches for QCNA. 
● To provide technical direction and support for any Association programs, including injury prevention. 
● To ensure that the Netball Australia, Netball Queensland and QCNA philosophies and policies are understood and followed by coaches and players within the Association programs. 
● To provide regular feedback to coaches with regard to individual development and strategies for advancement. 
● To establish and maintain a talent identification network for the Association in relation to players and coaches. 
● To manage structure and process for retention and recruitment of players and coaches at end of each season. 
● Review and report on activities as required by the Executive Committee. 
● Attend to media requests and appearances as required. 
● Contribute to the growth and development of QCNA through relationships with educational, sporting and community organisations.
