Born in New Zealand and raised in Sydney, Jessie was a training partner with last year’s Queensland Sapphires squad and her netball career since moving to the Sunshine State continues to grow.
The strong and athletic midcourter made her international debut last year for Samoa and is one of actor and singer Jay Laga’aia’s eight children, with her proud father often posting updates on Jessie’s netball achievements on his social media channels.
