After standing out in last year’s Australian Netball Championships for the Queensland Sapphires, pacy midcourter Leesa’s career has gone from strength to strength in the past 12 months.
The younger sister of former Firebird Jemma Mi Mi made her Suncorp Super Netball debut against the West Coast Fever in Perth and remained in the Firebirds line-up for their final five matches of the 2023 season before returning to the HART Sapphire Series to captain the ACU Brisbane North Cougars to yet another grand final.
