Each year, these awards celebrate the dedication, passion, and achievements of individuals and organisations who make netball thrive across Queensland. Peer-nominated, the awards shine a light on those who embody the values of our sport - from inclusivity and leadership to commitment and community spirit.
This year, the Spirit of Netball Award has drawn outstanding finalists whose contributions reflect the very best of our game.
Kirsty Germon (Northern Gold Coast Netball Association), Taylah Steger (Monto Netball Association) and Rachelle Swan (Pine Rivers Netball Association) have each inspired their communities with their dedication, leadership and unwavering love for netball.
In 2025, the Community Awards will be celebrated as part of the Netball Queensland Leaders Conference at the University of Queensland on Saturday, 11 October, with presentations woven throughout the program before culminating at the concluding cocktail celebration.
It’s a chance to recognise the people and organisations who are the heartbeat of netball - from officials and coaches to inclusive programs, associations and clubs.
