TAE Aerospace Ipswich Jets vs Bond University Bull Sharks, Nissan Arena Court 1 - Sunday, 4pm
The high-flying Jets are six points clear at the top of the ladder and take another step closer to the minor premiership with a victory over the Bull Sharks on Sunday.
A loss to reigning premiers the Cougars last weekend tipped Bond out of the competition top four but Bec Stower's team has a game in hand over the Cougars and are very much in the finals race.
Jets defender Danielle Taylor was named player of the round last weekend and faces another tough challenge stopping a Bull Sharks attack including former Queensland Firebird Mia Stower and in-form shooter Kaylin van Greunen.
Sunshine Coast Thunder vs Gold Coast Titans, Nissan Arena Show Court - Sunday, 4pm (Live on KommunityTV)
A key match in the race to challenge the Jets at the top of the ladder with these teams heading into the game only split by perecentage after the Titans' win over the Tigers last time out lifted them into second ahead of the Thunder.
Sunshine Coast had the bye last weekend but were too strong for the Bull Sharks in their last outing during Pride Round and are boosted knowing key players such as Annie Miller, Charlie Bell and Maddie Hinchliffe should be available with no Super Netball Reserves commitments.
The Titans will also benefit from the lack of Super Netball Reserves action for Queensland teams as well with Josie Bingham and Talitah Faifai available while Jess Milne is back after her stint as a temporary replacement player for the Firebirds.
ACU Brisbane North Cougars vs Carina Leagues Club Tigers, Nissan Arena Show Court - Sunday, 6pm (Live on KommunityTV)
The league will be on lookout after the Cougars third win in a row lifted them into the competition top four last weekend, the four-time premiers appearing to be timing their run for a tilt at defending their crown despite a poor first half of the season.
Nalani Makunde was a standout in the Cougars' win over the Bull Sharks last weekend and the in-form shooter will be licking her lips at taking on a Tigers' defence that has leaked the second-most goals this season.
With the Brisbane South Wildcats having a bye, an upset by the Tigers could be decisive in avoiding the wooden spoon with both teams separated at the bottom at the moment by percentage only.
