Selections were made following impressive performances throughout the 2025 HART Premier Netball League season, State Titles and Vicki Wilson Championships. Among the standout stories is new National A Badge umpire Ella Warren, who has earned elevation to the High Performance Squad - joining an elite group of officials leading the way in Queensland netball.
The HART Premier Netball League: Sapphire and Ruby Squad will feature four first-timers to the level - Erin Plowman, Hannah Moran, Tahlia Barnes and Taya Kirk - highlighting the growing strength and depth in Queensland’s officiating ranks. The 2026 lineup also welcomes back Kelly Porter, returning after a six-year hiatus, and Jake Shepherd, who rejoins the Queensland pathway after a successful stint with Netball ACT.
At the development level, several new faces have earned selection following standout tournaments, including Breanna Fiddyment, Eleanor Spratt, Emerson Smith, Jasmine Maher, Jasynta Early, Paige Kakau, Bec Prado and Shiloh Smith. Three new Ruby North Squad inclusions - Ashley Killer, Charlette Walker and Jade McErlain - have also been recognised for their 2025 performances.
"Ella will be one of 12 A Badge umpires officiating in Queensland next year - the highest number our state has ever had on court in a single season," Netball Queensland Workforce Development Manager Claire Kleinschmidt said.
"We’re incredibly proud of the talent, dedication and diversity across our squads and congratulate all those selected, as well as the associations supporting their development."
