Over the past week, the Netball Queensland team has undertaken extensive consultation with the Sunshine Coast Regional Council, Sunshine Coast Netball Association, Competitions Advisory Group members, other sport events in September and a range of Associations to determine the best options for rescheduling this year’s State Age event.
Netball Queensland is pleased to confirm that Nissan State Age will now occur from Saturday 25 – to Tuesday 28 September at the Sunshine Coast Netball Association.
We appreciate there may be some concerns about availability of accommodation during the September school holidays, however the Sunshine Coast Regional Council is confident there will be sufficient accommodation options available across the Sunshine Coast.
Further details, such as new timelines for competition management and planning will commence this week and be provided directly to our netball community as soon as possible.
