Tia Molo and Sasha Flegler provided attacking impetus from the midcourt allowing Crombie and goal attack Kirra Tappenden to hit the scoreboard.
NSW held an 11-8 advantage after the first quarter but the Queenslanders turned around the game with a 12-9 second term.
A two goal win in the third quarter was enough to give Queensland the edge in the decider with the fourth quarter tied 11-all.
On the defensive end Jada Delaney won the grand final MVP medal for her impressive efforts alongside the equally outstanding Gemma Hutchings.
The duo were ably supported by captain Ellie Brice, who lead the team throughout a tense finish to take the title.
Sunday’s win capped a dominant week for the 17 and Unders, who earned top spot for the finals by winning all seven of their pool matches.
An ice-cool finish in Saturday’s semi-final by Tappenden secured a thrilling win in double extra-time in a marathon contest against West Australia to reach the gold medal match.
In the 19 and Unders, Queensland proved too good for Tasmania in Sunday’s fifth-place playoff, winning 47-38.
That capped off an impressive week by the team, who missed out on a top four berth only on countback after three teams finished level on points.
After defeating the Northern Territory in Saturday’s 5v8 playoff, Queensland made it six wins from nine with the win over Tasmania.
