The squads were selected following the 2026 State Titles at Nissan Arena on Tuesday, where Queensland's emerging athletes showcased their talent in front of state selectors.
Representation across the 2027 State Team squads highlights the depth of talent emerging from right across Queensland.
The 63 athletes have earned selection from 11 franchises spanning metropolitan and regional areas, reflecting the strength of Netball Queensland’s pathway and the vital role Clubs, Associations and franchise programs play in developing the state’s future representatives.
The selected athletes will now commence their journey towards the 2027 National Netball Championships, where they will represent Queensland against the nation's best emerging talent.
The 17 and Under squad will be led by Head Coach Carynne Robinson, Assistant Coach Richanda-leigh Kassman and Manager Merrin McCulloch, while the 19 and Under program will be guided by Head Coach Lauren Mead, Assistant Coach Rebecca Hagenbach and Manager Elizabeth Shaw.
The squads will trial until October before a final cohort of 18 players is chosen in both age groups.
Those squads will then complete a final selection process where the final team and training partners are chosen for next year’s Netball Australia National Netball Championships.
