Netball Queensland would like to congratulate Graeme Thomas on being named as a finalist for the 2021 Queensland Sport Awards.
The Darling Downs Netball Association president is a contender to take home the Volunteer of the Year Award.
Mr Thomas was nominated by Netball Queensland for his tireless work as a passionate and dedicated volunteer for many years.
“I am both humbled and surprised,” Thomas said.
“And must admit given the wonderful people I work with in the region and also the patience and engagement given by Netball Queensland it's just been an honor to be a small part of the regions journey.”
All award winners will be announced at this year’s 26th annual Queensland Sport Awards Presentation, which will take place on Thursday 25 November.
This year’s event will be held in the Plaza Ballroom at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.
