Both teams have begun the season with two wins from two after the Jets downed the Kedron-Wavell Cougars in a Friday night clash at Nissan Arena before the Titans easily accounted for the Brisbane South Wildcats at the Carrara Indoor Sports Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The Jets fought back from being down at the end of the first quarter against the Cougars to hold a six-goal lead at three-quarter time before going on to claim a 55-52 win over the Cougars.
Ex-Queensland Firebird Hulita Veve continued her return from an ACL injury, again playing at goal defence for the Jets, while Rylee Burns was a standout in attack against her former club with 12 goals and three Super Shots.
The Cougars were led in attack by Amelia Nemcansky with 23 goals and will be boosted by the return of several players in coming weeks following the conclusion of the Super Netball Reserves competition.
The Titans, who defeated Moreton Bay City Pulse by 30 goals in Round One, continued their red-hot start to the campaign with a convincing 78-43 demolition of the Wildcats on the Gold Coast.
Defensive duo Dell Fiso and Madison Rhind shone at the back for the Titans, earning shared Player of the Match honours, while Tia Crombie was outstanding in the circle with 51 points including two Super Shots at 93 per cent shooting.
The loss is the Wildcats' second in a row to start the season, leaving them at the bottom of the early competition ladder along with the Carina Leagues Club Tigers who lost to premiers Bond University Bull Sharks 58-51 in Logan on Saturday.
The seven-goal win means the Bull Sharks bounce back from their Round One loss to the Cougars and get their premiership defence underway.
The final match of the round featured a big win for the Pulse over the Sunshine Coast Thunder, 66-36, on Sunday for the Pulse to claim their first win of the season.
