With an impressive 235 games played over the weekend, netball enthusiasts enjoyed a staggering 7520 minutes of thrilling action at the Townsville City Netball Association (TCNA) courts on May 18 and 19.
An attendance of approximately 1300 people created a lively and energetic atmosphere and notably, the Tablelands and Sarina Netball Associations made a long-awaited return to an NQ event, adding to the diversity and excitement of the competition.
NQ partner HART Sport also made the journey to Townsville, taking the opportunity to engage with regional associations. They not only sold high-quality sports equipment but also immersed themselves in the event's festivities, contributing to the overall fantastic experience.
A highlight of the weekend was the badging of four umpires from regional associations, recognising their dedication and skill - Millie Hughes (Charters Towers), Darnelle Steedman (Charters Towers), Eden Cini (Innisfail), Rylee Jones (Innisfail).
