Chloe Litherland made her return in midcourt last weekend, but remains on restricted minutes, meaning a Jets midcourt featuring Steph O’Brien and Ally McLeod will have to battle hard against the Wildcats youthful trio of Chaise Vassallo, Tahlia Evans and Maddie Davies.
Bond University Bull Sharks v ACU Brisbane North Cougars, Nissan Arena Court 7 - 6pm
The Bull Sharks have had a disrupted start to their season, playing just two matches in the opening four rounds including two byes and a trip to the Sunshine Coast last Sunday.
That clash with the Thunder at USC Stadium was a thriller, with the Bull Sharks falling by just six points in a game that finished 78-72 despite Mia Stower's remarkable haul of 16 Super Shots.
Coach Bec Stower will be hoping her new look Bull Sharks can bounce back against a Cougars team which only notched its first win of the season in its fourth game against the Wildcats last weekend.
The four-time premiers aren't used to being down the wrong end of the table and Head Coach Liz White will be hoping the 62-55 win over the Wildcats is the spark to get her team's campaign back on track.
Gold Coast Titans v Carina Leagues Club Tigers, Nissan Arena Court 1 - 6pm
The Titans, like the Bull Sharks, have also played just two games so far this season, opening with a narrow win over the Wildcats in round one before a derby defeat to the Bull Sharks at Carrara in round two.
The only club not to play across last weekend's double-header fixture, Temepara Bailey's team are third on the ladder due to percentage but have the same number of points as the last-placed Tigers they'll face this weekend.
The Tigers shocked the previously unbeaten Thunder last Saturday for their first win of the season before slipping to a big loss to the Jets on Sunday.
Former Tigers Ruby premiership winner Tia Crombie could be one to watch as she faces her former club following her switch to the Titans while the midcourt battle between reigning Katie Walker Medallist Jessica Laga'aia and Kourtnee Baird will be a fascinating contest.
