Officials Courses & Workshops

Netball Queensland provides training sessions for Bench Officials providing the training required to officiate various competitions. 

Training sessions cover various topics including:
* Event specific logisitics and information
* Familiarisation with the scoresheet used
* Familiarisation with the countdown clocks and timing devices
* Familiarisation with the overhead score boards 

The Rules of Netball Theory Exam is part of the National Officiating Accreditation Scheme and tests knowledge about the basic rules of netball. 

A pass, 70%, of the Rules of Netball Theory Exam is a prerequisite for:

* C Grade Badge Umpire - the introductory level umpire accreditation
* State Bench Official Accreditation
* Development Coach Accreditation
