TAE Aerospace Jets defender and reigning MVP Lily Gribble is once again among the finalists after another outstanding season anchoring her team’s defensive end.
Joining her on the shortlist is Jess Laga'aia, the 2023 Katie Walker Medallist and Kedron Wavell Cougars midcourt standout whose consistency and playmaking ability have made her one of the competition’s most respected leaders.
Rounding out the trio is Georgia Lindsay, the Brisbane South Wildcats’ dynamic goaler and Queensland First Nations representative, who has been a revelation in her maiden HPNL Sapphire Division campaign after making the switch from her hometown Darling Downs Panthers heading into the 2025 season.
The winner will be revealed at the inaugural Netball Queensland Performance Pathways Awards Night, to be held on Friday, September 26 at Carina Leagues Club. The new event will celebrate the rising stars and dedicated leaders shaping the future of Queensland netball.
The Katie Walker Medal – named in honour of former Queensland Firebird and state league icon Katie Walker – will be the showpiece prize on an evening that will also see the announcement of the HART Ruby MVP, M-League MVP and the Queensland 17/U and 19/U MVP and Players’ Player awards.
Other honours include the Queensland First Nations MVP and Players’ Player, Queensland Gems MVP and Spirit awards and the Judy Sampson Memorial Trophy.
