Trailing by one with just two minutes to play at Nissan Arena on Sunday, the Bull Sharks scored the final four points to claim a 70-67 win to move into second on the ladder behind the table-topping Titans.
Kaylin van Greunen led the way for the Bull Sharks with 50 goals while former Queensland Firebird Mia Stower hit eight Super Shots.
The defeat is the Titans' second of the season but they remain on top of the ladder on points differential ahead of the Bull Sharks with both teams now having a 6-2 record.
Elsewhere in Round 8, the Kedron Wavell Cougars bounced back from their dramatic defeat to the Sunshine Coast Thunder with a 76-49 triumph over the Carina Leagues Club Tigers.
Nalani Makunde scored a game-high 55 points for the Cougars who sit third on the ladder ahead of the Thunder on percentage with Sunshine Coast taking a big 67-33 win over Moreton Bay City Pulse, who are still searching for their maiden Sapphire division victory.
In the weekend's final game, the return of newly minted Queensland Firebirds duo Dani Taylor and Elsa Sif Sandholt boosted the TAE Aerospace Jets as they cruised to a 62-37 win over the Brisbane South Wildcats.
