The four-day tournament saw over 2700 players from all over the state take to the courts, with Hinterland teams claiming the 12 and 14 Championship divisions in style. Hinterland 12 Purple defeated CPNA 12 Navy in the 12s grand final, while Hinterland 14 Purple overcame Sunshine Coast 14 Gold in the 14s decider.
Hinterland 13 Purple also secured the 13 Championship division, Hinterland 14 Green triumphed in the 14s Challenge division and Hinterland Boys finished runners-up in the boys division to round out a remarkable event for the Gold Coast-based association.
Gympie and Districts Netball Association was awarded the Performance Award, recognising their outstanding contribution across the tournament.
Netball Queensland extends its gratitude to Sunshine Coast Netball Association for hosting a fantastic event and thanks Sunshine Coast Council for its ongoing support.
We also acknowledge Netball Queensland partners Containers for Change, Tribal Sport, HART Sport, Mizuno, Suncorp, Ray White Queensland, and Baskin-Robbins for activating throughout the event.
Over 100 umpires took the opportunity to be coached by Netball Queensland umpire coaches, with the event also providing a mentoring program for coaches led by QFFA and Future Firebirds Head Coach Jessica Whitfort.
