Aiming to bounce back from their major semi-final loss to the Cougars the week before, the Jets were relentless against a Titans team fresh from their dramatic last-second victory over Bond University Bull Sharks in the minor semi-final, sealing a grand final berth with a 58-53 win.
The Titans begun brightly against their more-fancied opponents, opening a four-goal buffer midway through the opening term.
But when Millie Lockwood hit back-to-back two-point goals right in the final 20 seconds of the first quarter the Jets had surged out to a 16-12 advantage at the first turn.
From there the Jets held the lead throughout the contest, keeping the Titans at arm's length to secure a win and set up a mouthwatering clash against the Cougars in this Sunday's decider at Nissan Arena.
Defeat for the Titans came despite Mackenzie Jordan hitting five Super Shots on her way to 17 points while former Cougar Charlie Bell led the scoring for the Jets with 41 goals at 91 per cent shooting.
The Jets defeated the Cougars in Round 2 of this season but have lost their two most-recent matches against the Cougars including that two-point semi-final defeat just over a week ago as the premiership goes on the line between the season's two best performing clubs.
