The Jets defeated both Gold Coast-based teams with wins over the Titans and Bond University Bull Sharks as Rounds 5 and 6 were played on the same weekend.
It means Ipswich sit top of the ladder with six wins from six matches to start their season.
Saturday's action was at Nissan Arena with the Jets overturning at four-goal halftime deficit to claim a hard-fought 58-55 win.
On Sunday, the Jets travelled to Carrara to face the Bull Sharks and ran out 12-goal winners against the defending premiers.
That loss was just Bond's second of the year after they began their weekend with a 71-64 win over Sunshine Coast Thunder on Saturday at Nissan Arena.
The Titans meanwhile bounced back on Sunday with a thrilling 62-61 win over the Thunder at Chancellor College.
Last year's defeated grand finalists, Kedron-Wavell Cougars, are the nearest challengers to the Jets on the ladder after wins over the Carina Leagues Club Tigers and Moreton Bay City Pulse over the double-header weekend.
Those two victories mean the Cougars are second on the ladder with five wins and just one defeat so far this season.
The Pulse were dominant winners on Saturday against the Brisbane South Wildcats, claiming a 66-50 win at Nissan Arena, before the Wildcats then went down 61-54 to the Tigers on Sunday to leave them bottom of the ladder and without a win so far this season.
