Mizuno's partnership with Netball Queensland dates back to 2018 and this latest renewal means the company support for the sport extends to a total of seven years.
The partnership focuses on connecting with grass roots and emerging athletes in Queensland, promoting Mizuno’s range of netball shoes in particular to the netball community’s associations and members.
Mizuno will also support Queensland’s premier netball competition, the HART Sapphire Series, by providing shoes to umpires.
In addition, a new initiative called the Mizuno Player of the Round has been launched for this year’s competition – with the selected player rewarded with a voucher for Mizuno shoes.
The first winner of the weekly prize will be announced following Saturday’s opening round of fixtures at Nissan Arena.
Mizuno's commitment to grassroots netball will also be evident at NQ's State Ages, where the company will activate to support young players and promote the sport. This initiative is part of Mizuno's wider commitment to supporting sport at all levels, from grassroots to elite.
