After winning the 16U Division undefeated, the ACU Brisbane North Cougars dominated the 31-player 17U squad with nine players from their title-winning team selected.
Beaten finalists Gold Coast Titans have five representatives with the Carina Leagues Club Tigers and TAE Aerospace Ipswich Jets boasting four players each.
Bond University Bull Sharks had three selections while two Sunshine Coast Thunder players were named.
The Far North Flames led the way for the new Ruby North franchises with two players selected while Mackay Monarchs and Townsville City Netball were also represented.
The 19U squad features 32 athletes along with five exemptions.
Winning the State Title 18U grand final also ensured a strong Cougars representation in the 19U squad with eight players named including Grand Final MVP Gemma Hutchings.
Finalists Carina Leagues Club Tigers have four athletes named while the Bull Sharks, Titans, Thunder and Brisbane South Wildcats are all well-represented.
Charlotte Jonsen, representing a North Queensland selection at the State Titles, was also named.
The squads will trial until mid-October before a final cohort of 16 players is chosen in both age groups on October 15.
Those squads will then complete a final selection process where the final team and training partners are chosen for next year’s Netball Australia National Netball Championships.
“As ever there was an excellent standard of talent on display throughout the State Titles,” Netball Queensland Head of Talent and Development Roselee Jencke said.
“We congratulate all those selected in the 17 and Under and 19 and Under Queensland State squads.”
