Netball Queensland’s General Manager – Delivery Network, Matthew Battams, said the Advisory Group would play a key role in the continued growth of Netball Queensland’s competitions and events.
“The nature of competitions and events continues to evolve, particularly in the current environment, and so it’s important that we constantly review our model to ensure it reflects the needs of our netball community.”
“As a governing body, we have a commitment to deliver contemporary, high quality events and competitions which inspire participation in netball, and we are fortunate to now call upon the depth of experience and expertise of this Advisory Group to assist in that task.”
The Competitions Advisory Group will meet regularly, capture and discuss feedback from various stakeholders and provide advice on future competitions and events.
The first meeting of this Competitions Advisory Group will be Tuesday 27th October.
Netball Queensland extends its congratulations to the new Advisory Group members.
