After being selected in the Queensland State squads at State Titles last month, these athletes have gone through numerous training sessions and trials to secure their spot in the second phase.
“The talent displayed made the process very competitive with limited spots available to go through to Phase Two, especially in the 19U age group with several athletes automatically selected due to being NA categorised athletes. The 17U age group soaked up the learning environment and the improvement was evident in the last weekend of match play,” Netball Queensland Head of Talent and Development Roselee Jencke said.
During Phase Two, the athletes will complete their final selection process with the final team and training partners being named at the beginning of February 2025 for next year’s Netball Australia National Netball Championships.
