Concussion Management Programme

Netball Queensland have partnered with the Headsmart Sports Concussion Programme to help manage concussion and the return to play process for Netballers of all ages across Queensland.  For a very small annual fee of $20, Netballers can undergo an online baseline assessment which will then provide valuable individualised feedback if they do suffer a head knock during the season.  This information will assist medical practitioners to accurately assess the player’s concussion status and capacity to return to play safely.  All of Netball Queensland’s elite programs, including the Lorna Jane Queensland Firebirds are using this programme and we would encourage all players to do the same.  For more information please review the information paper here. NQ and Headsmart Sports Concussion Programme
