The QLD team representing the state at the Marie Little OAM Shield has a new name! The QLD Gems!

 

The Marie Little OAM Shield is an annual tournament that provides women with an intellectual impairment the chance to compete at a national level.

 

The QLD Gems are kicking off the year with some open skills sessions. We’re inviting individuals whether they might be interested in the competitive side of netball with QLD Gems or just looking for somewhere to play and have fun we would love them to come and join us!

 

The QLD Gems invite you to their open skills sessions:

 

When:  Sunday 31st March  9:00am – 10:30am

Saturday 27th April 12:00pm – 1:30pm

Saturday 25th May 12:00pm – 1:00pm

 

Where: Queensland State Netball Centre, 590 Mains Rd, Nathan

Cost: $5 pp/session

What: Jump on court and practice netball skills with QLD Gems coaching staff and then finish off with a friendly game of netball!

Who: Current players and individuals interested in learning what the QLD Gems is all about or simply want to give netball a go! Open to males and females with an intellectual impairment high school age and above.
